The girls arrive in China happy and excited. All that is, except Lisa, who is sad about her poor finish the previous week. She’s in a bad mood and allows it to bring her down, despite that fact that she has made it this far in the competition.
Martial Arts 101
First stop on their trip is the Shanghai Film Studio where the models meet Louis Liu, a martial arts expert. Liu teaches them different martial arts positions and tells them they’ll be judged on how well they perform the positions while suspended in mid-air.
Jenah and Chantal perform first. Both girls are daredevils at heart and excel at the challenge. Lisa and Saliesha go up next. Saliesha gets into the poses while Lisa struggles.
Bianca expresses her fear of heights, and Heather tries to calm her down. Despite Heather’s encouragement, Bianca refuses to go through with the challenge and disqualifies herself. Heather, meanwhile, performs beautifully and wins the challenge. As the winner, Heather receives 4,000 rmb, or the equivalent of $532.18 to spend on a Shanghai shopping spree. Heather chooses Chantal to accompany her.
